2 Corinthians 5:17-20 describes the purpose of Royal Ambassadors Kids
Mission Statement
The mission of KHG children ministry is to provide biblical teachings and instructions in a loving and caring environment where children can be drawn to Jesus Christ and learn to seek Him earnestly, serve Him faithfully, and share Him boldly with others.
Vision Statement
It is our vision that the children of KHGM will come to personally know and experience Christ’s love, spirit, and truth, and discover their spiritual potential through Christ-centered, loving, and caring ministries."Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 (NIV)
Value Statement
We value the uniqueness of each of our children and their individual and collective abilities, along with their ability to be kind, considerate, and respectful to each other. We strive to maintain a safe, secure, and loving environment, where our children are encouraged to participate and serve God willingly with their whole hearts. We also encourage the support and involvement of parents, members, and friends as we strive to reach our children, who are our present and future generation.
Parent Involvement
We believe in a team approach to the Children's Ministry. All parents are required to be supportive participants in the Children’s Ministry. Parents who have children participating in Children’s Ministry activities should serve in a volunteer capacity on a quarterly basis.
New Members Orientation
New members orientation is for children (with parent permission) who have made a decision to become new believers. They are to become a part of the KHG Ministries.
Orientation curriculum enables children to understand what it means to be a Christian. The key principles that are taught include:
Definition of sin- Repentance- Salvation- Baptismal-Communion.
Christian responsibilities (love, forgiveness, tithe (give), acceptance) .
Salvation
Salvation is taught because we believe everyone should have the opportunity to hear and then accept. We do not force salvation - it is a heart's decision and we are sensitive to the hearts of children.
